Description
Medium-sized tree found in south Missouri, but can be planted successfully statewide. Grows in deep, moist soils and along streams. An attractive tree with shiny dark-green leaves, blue-black fruits and brilliant red fall color. Older, larger trees often contain hollows that are used by cavity-nesting wildlife. Height at maturity is 65 ft.
Uses
