Description
One of the largest and fastest growing trees in the eastern United States. Makes its best growth on deep, well drained bottomland soils. Can reach diameters of 3-4 feet. Height at maturity is 100 ft.
Uses
This species can be commonly used for wind breaks, erosion control, reforestation and wetland restoration. Wildlife benefit is cover.
