Avoid activities within recharge area of tumbling creek cave that are detrimental to water quality *06*. Water entering Tumbling Creek Cave may contain silt or pollutants *09*. Feral hogs are a potential threat given that they create erosion and may enter cave during the winter. Contaminants from hormones, antbiotics, disinfectants, or other chemicals in human and livestock waste may adversly affect the snail as well as chemicals used for highway maintenance and urban development *09*.
